"it was rated as a magna cum laude by Professor Henry A. Yeomans" - who was born in 1805 according to his own entry and thus 135 years of age when JFK published his book? --2001:4DD0:AF06:A54B:306F:343A:2FC4:96BB (talk) 19:45, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy of actual writer?

[edit]

Was it this book that was subsequently alleged that it had been partially or substantially written by someone else? Or was it Profiles In Courage? It would be interesting to know if the title were deliberately chosen because of the similarity to Churchill’s book. Also, the $40,000 in royalties would be equivalent to just under $900,000 in today’s dollars. 2600:1700:4E10:C690:2856:7CBE:441C:6F6A (talk) 21:00, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
